The Book Thief

THE BOOK THIEF by Markus Zusak

    I really liked this book.There are many books and  films about this period,  World War II, but this time the focus is different. The narrator is  Death itself.  There's something shocking in the narrator's tone and words. It's quite shocking when you first read it.

Liesel ( the main character) , her family ,her friends, Rudy( her corageous pal) , the hostile environment and her everyday llife are beautifully portrayed..

 After reading the book, I decided to see the film.There are many details left out but the result is a very nice movie.
